4+ Years in the business
I was born and raised in Philadelphia. Growing up in Philly you become very passionate about
music and nightlife. My dream was always to stand in front of a crowd and say “I’m DJ KD, are
you ready to have a good time tonight?” and hear the crowd go crazy. I was on stage crew my
entire life so I’ve always been passionate about the behind the scenes aspect of life. I always
had a passion for music so when I was in college at Cabrini University, I decided to take my
passion for music to the next level by having my own radio show. I play every genre you can
think of. From today’s hits to 80s to 2000s throwbacks and more. From there, my passion grew
even more which led me to where I am today DJing around Philadelphia. My favorite part of
what I do isn’t all the cool places I get to DJ at, it’s the people you meet along the way at every
gig I do. Looking out into a crowd and seeing people just dancing and having a good time is the
best part of my night. Making people feel good in the world we live in is the reason I do what I
do.
