Derek Petaccio prides himself in being a dynamic entertainer with a career spanning music, dance, and emceeing! Beginning his journey at just 16, he honed his craft spending a decade in the entertainment industry working mitzvahs, weddings, corporate events, and special occasions.
His career took off when he joined Q102 as part of the street team and promotions department, also serving as a nightclub DJ for four years. His talents even led to appearances on MTV and GSN!
In 2009, Derek’s singing earned him the title of Philadelphia Idol winner. Shortly after, he became the lead singer of The Rockets, fronting the band for 12 years.
Throughout his time in different areas of the entertainment industry, everything Derek has learned only amplifies his emceeing abilities for your wedding or event!
