Once realizing the power and importance of music, David a.k.a. DJ Apex, knew from a young age that he wanted to be the person who would bring the same joy and energy to all.
By any means necessary, David always found a way to be the person with music and speakers at any occasion to ensure all in attendance would have a great time. From carrying crates filled with vinyl records for one of the area’s most known and inspirational DJ’s, DJ Excel, to learning the ins and outs of sound from his Uncle, DJ Rab – Sound engineer for a local radio station; David learned the tricks of the trade. Since, DJ Apex has performed at various occasions such as Fashion Shows, Black Tie Corporate Events, Weddings, Sweet 16’s/Quinceanera’s, Countless Private Parties, Bars/Lounges and Nightclubs ranging from New York to Virginia.
As of 2022, David accepted a full time position with In The Mix as Operations Manager in addition to his DJ position.
