Gina & Joe Parker

After a heartfelt ceremony and some photos on the beach, we headed back to the family home to hang out until cocktail hour. Ring bearer, Frankie, even got to go on a (supervised) joy ride in the golf cart. After some drinks and casual backyard games, it was time for the real party to start!

Gina and Joe’s fun and casual vibes on their wedding day was just the icing on the cake to an amazing wedding on the beach this April. When I arrived at the family’s shore home I was blown away by the decorations done to the house. Joe’s family even rented the house across the street so that the families could stay close and party together all weekend! It was just a short walk (or golf cart ride) down to the beach where the ceremony was held. Thankfully we were still in the “off-season” for beach go-ers and we had a fairly private spot on the beach to ourselves.

It was my first time at The Yacht Club of Sea Isle and boy it was amazing! In The Mix lit up the room with some blue uplighting to match the sea theme of the reception and before I knew it, people were filing in to start the dancing. COVID couldn’t stop this group from celebrating and our DJs had everyone up out of their seats!

Before leaving, Gina, Joe and I snuck outside for some more photographs. Unfortunately with the overcast day, we didn’t get a dramatic sunset over the bay, but we still managed to get some intimate portraits and a few bridal party shots on the front steps. “The Parkers” banner courtesy of family members!! I hope they kept it to hang at future parties! I will always remember Gina for being my only bride ever to text me the day after her wedding thanking me; and then sending me a video a friend captured of me laying in the street for a shot of them on the golf cart (see below)! We hope to see this awesome couple again at a wedding in the future!
